The Henry Workshop Clocks

The Henry Clock Course!

If you wanted to make your own Nixie Clock, we run a 1 day course where you can come along to the workshop in Staffordshire and spend the day putting together your own personalised Henry clock. Here's some of the things that you will be doing:

  • The casing comes as raw laser cut Birch ply. It's up to you how you finish it off, either staining the wood or painting it. You can laquer it or Varnish it after as well. If you're really good at painting, I can send you the casing components in advance for you to prepare at home.
  • You will have to completely assemble and solder both circuit boards. If you've never soldered before then full training is given, and plenty of practice before you start on the actual clock.
  • Mechanical assembly of the boards and the casing.
  • Wiring up of the rear control panel, and testing of the finished clock.

As the clock is built here in the workshop, then I'm at hand to sort out any problems or help rectify any mistakes. You're guaranteed to leave with a fully working and tested clock.
