The Bombe MKII
The Bombe (Covert Bombe)
The original Bombe clock was made as a triubute to Alan Turing and the work carried out at Bletchely Park during WWII. A limited run of 10 Bombe clocks were made, each one an exact 1:1 replica of the original machine.
There is now a MKII Bombe in development that is very nearly ready, this new Bombe is called the 'Covert Bombe' and features re-designed electronics for the clock, and uses a GPS device to sync the time automatically. New controls for the drums and changes to the engraved panels. More than half of the chassis panels have been modified from the original, and the tubes will have black bases.
