Special Reserve Aston Martin DBS Silencer Clock

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Adverting this wonderful clock I created for Special Reserve: 

Designed & built using an obsolete Aston Martin DBS exhaust silencer rescued after almost half a century of storage at the luxury marques warehouse, this piece stands as a tribute to  a car which played a starring role in the 1969 James Bond movie ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’

Only 3 individually numbered clocks will ever be produced as production is limited to the number of original & unused silencers still in existence.
This clock provides a real opportunity to own a unique piece of automotive and brand history which can never be recreated.

* Uses 6 of the legendary Z568M Nixie tubes to display Time and Date.
* Clock base made from hand cut and finished English Oak, expertly treated in West Yorkshire.
* Inbuilt light level sensor will dim or brighten the clock to suit ambient surroundings.
* Accurate to +/- 1 minute per year.
* Easy to set / adjust with 2 buttons on the back. No app or internent connection required.

I wouldn’t change a thing about this clock, the depth of the display and richness of colour with the lighting effects is spot-on. I have it scrolling through the ‘slots’ mode every minute and the date display too so I get animation 60 times an hour. It makes me feel like I’m either in a nuclear bunker, about to engage time travel or waiting to be found at the bottom of the hatch in ‘Lost’! There are so many setup options available on this clock that there is no excuse to dislike anything at all about the clocks operation. I love the fact that this classic old counter has been given new purpose and a new lease of life. Overall, this clock is absolutely superb, I couldn’t be happier.
