Sullivan Bridge Clock
The Sullivan Bridge Clock
The Sullivan Bridge clock, is an old piece of equipment called a Wheatstone Bridge (this one originally manufactured by Sullivan) Used as a piece of test equipment to help discover the value of unknown electrical components, in effect a measuring device, also used to test telegraph lines and long lengths of cable. This one dates back to about 1940 and is housed in a beautiful solid oak case, and the front control panel is all bakelite. We have sympathetically added a large 6 tube clock to the top of the machine, using the Z566M nixies that are proportionate to the size of the piece. We have also made the dial on the front light up and move, controlled by the original dials on the machine.
Made as a statement piece, this is a truly stunning clock that would be the center of attention anywhere. The clock is also fully featured:
- Time and Date display
- 12 / 24hr selection
- Programmable RGB colours
- Programmable Tube sleep times
- Tubes good for 20 years +
- Many more options
The clock measures approx 45cm wide, 12cm deep and 45cm to the top of the tubes. It is one off signed item and as such cannot be repeated, once sold it will be gone.
