The Geiger Counter
This is a Nixie clock, made from an original Cold War Geiger counter.
I made a run of 5 of these, there is one left and it is number 4 so offered for sale here.
The clock has 6 Nixie tubes, and a Dekatron tube where the original dial went. The Geiger counter was a British made Radac counter, and dates back to the 1960's
The Completed clock measures 23cm wide 15cm deep and 14cm to the top of the tubes.
Many features built into the clock, including:
12/24 hour mode
Date display - DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY
Fully programmable RGB lighting under the tubes, changes colour on the hour
Leading Zero on/off
Optional GPS or WiFi connectivity for time synchronisation
Daylight saving time button
Many more features detailing Colon operation / timekeeping calibration / Sleep time etc..
Clock is supplied with a universal mains adaptor, so will plug in and go whichever country it is shipped to.
